Giant Hair Bun Tutorial☆

Hello~~ I promised you a hair tutorial. So here it is!

What you will need:

1. Hair spray (I use Proffs)
2. Dry Shampoo or Hair wax (I use Proffs Dry Shampoo)
3. A comb or a hair brush
4. Scrunchy or hair band
5. Bobby pins
6. Hairpiece Pony Tail (I use a synthetic hair pony tail from Glitter)

I hope my explainations aren’t too weird. I tried to show everything with pictures but it was hard to take good ones…

I also made a video some time ago with a similar updo. It’s a bit more frizzy but I’m using the same technique.

Sweets for my Sweet

Hello! Me and my boyfriend are visiting his hometown in Värmland for the weekend to congratulate his mother for her birthday. And my boyfriend insisted that I made some sweets. So I made some cake balls. ^-^

Movie Time~~

I’ve been feeling sick for the past few days. ,__, So I haven’t been doing much. Except for watching a lot of movies. So I thought I’d share some of the better movies I’ve seen lately ^^

Kokuhaku (Confessions)

From the same director of Shimotsuma monogatari. It kind of has the same weird style, but a much deeper story. Plot from IMDB: “A psychological thriller of a grieving mother turned cold-blooded avenger with a twisty master plan to pay back those who were responsible for her daughter’s death.”
It’s very weird, but I would definitely recommend it.

Black Swan

Mind was blown! This movie was very.. disturbing. but at the same time brilliant. Plot from IMDB: “A ballet dancer wins the lead in “Swan Lake” and is perfect for the role of the delicate White Swan – Princess Odette – but slowly loses her mind as she becomes more and more like Odile, the Black Swan.”
There was sort of a magical realism throughout the whole movie. I loved it. You simply must watch it~~

Dalkomhaninsaeng (A Bittersweet Life)

Yep. A korean gangster movie. Plot from IMDB: “Kim Sun-woo is an enforcer and manager for a hotel owned by a cold, calculating crime boss, Kang, to whom he is unquestionably loyal… Kang assigns Sun-Woo to shadow his young mistress, Heesoo, for fear that she may be cheating on him with another. With the mandate that he must kill them both if he discovers their affair. As he performs his duty following Heesoo, he becomes quietly enthralled by the girl’s beauty and innocence, as glimpses into his lonely, empty personal life become more prevalent.”
I usually don’t like gangster movies (I get tired of all the action). But I enjoyed this one.

For the birds

Today is my dad’s birthday! He really loves birds. He’s doing a lot of birdwatching. So I decided to make him some bird paintings for his birthday ^^

I haven’t updated my blog for a while. I’ve been watching NHK World Live Broadcast constantly for the past week. I even have the app for my iPhone. Luckily, it seems everyone I know is okay. My thoughts go out to everyone who aren’t… houses, families, lives have been washed away. I’m also thinking about the 50 (or more?) heroes at Fukushima who are bravely sacrificing their lives in the fight againt the devastation of the nuclear meltdowns at the Fukushima plant.

The only thing I can provide at this moment is hope and donations. I’ve donated through the Swedish Red Cross Organisation. But I think you can turn directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society as well. Of course there are tons of different ways to show your support, this is just one of them.

Japan. I don’t know what to say. For everyone who are affected… I can’t even begin to imagine the feeling. I hope everyone I know is okay.

And three days ago I was complaining about the snow.
I feel so stupid.

 

iPhone DECO デコデン

Hi! So. yesterday I formatted some hard drives. It took some time. So while I waited I decided to decorate a case for my iPhone 4. I used an old “Deco Kit” that I bought in Japan about a year ago. But there weren’t enough pearls >__> so I had to use things I found at home. ^^;; so it didn’t rutn out that great. but anyway, it was fun!

And I tried a short hairstyle for a change. ^_^

 

Eyelash Transformation

I’ve been without fake-eyelashes for quite some time now. my mum was very sweet and got me a pair from H&M but they really can’t be compared to asian brands… I really like Diamond Lash, but I still can’t afford to buy new ones from shopping services such as Ichibankao. So I decided to try and make some.

This is what I used:

I started by cutting a pair of Ardell no 115 “Show Girl” lashes
(If I wear them just like they are I kind of look like a clown/prostitute)

Then I glued on the H&M lashes on the back of the Ardell lashes.


Here is the finished result! I know they look a bit tacky,
but still an alternative when you can’t afford the real deal.
(or can’t wait for shipping ^^;;)

I decided not to wear the lower lashes I have ’cause it was a little too much

Hi! I haven’t been blogging for a while. it’s because I’m kind of busy with designing and planning and things so… sorry about that. ^^;; and, um… I was supposed to go to CoutureGals CoutureTime in Oslo this weekend. But lot of things happend and it resulted in that I couldn’t go… It really bummed me out.. to try and cheer me up I decided to do my hair and try out lots of outfits (I’m such a girl >__>) haha anyway, here is the result:

Also, I know most people probably think I look kind of ridiculous in my wig. But it’s a Christmas gift from my mum and I love it, so I’m gonna’ keep wearing it ^__^ even if I look like a tranny/dragqueen/whatever. Every dragqueen I’ve met has been super cool anyway! peace~~
