Hello! Last week I updated my wardrobe a bit. ^-^

And as you might have noticed my hair has become a bit darker. I was trying to re-dye it with the same color I had before, but this time I used Casting Creme Gloss. I love those hair dyes. I picked the 713 – Iced Beige, but unfortunately it was a bit too dark… but I like it anyway ^_^

My hair color before:

Business woman is business~~

I got both the jacket and the pants from a friend of mine who was cleaning out her wardrobe. ♥

Hello! Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. I’ve been so busy this week. But I thought I’d just write a quick post about yesterdays Halloween party. It was both a halloween party and a birthday party for two friends of mine. They really love Minecraft. So I thought I’d do a Minecraft theme for this party ^_^

First I made some sweets ~~

And then I made a matching outfit~~ it was kind of last minute though, so it didn’t turn out as great as I wanted it to.. but anyway~~

I was trying to be a Creeper from Minecraft. Creepy, huh? ….. (ha…ha…ha :’)

I think I’m going to attend another halloween party next weekend. Need to come up with an outfit…

Hello! So. Some have asked me to do a make-up tutorial. I’m not very good at making tutorials, but I hope this will do. I’m just going to show my make-up for today. Nothing special. This is my usual day-make-up. It’s not too heavy, and also easy to do ^_^

What I use:

1. Concealer: Viva la Diva
2. Foundation: Maybelline New York – Pure Liquid Mineral
3. Eyeshadow: Maybelline New York – Intense chic
4. Mascara: Maybelline New York – Falsies Volume Express
5. Eye Liner: Nivea Expert Eye Liner
6. Fake Lashes: Dolly Wink no.1 Dolly Sweet
7. Eyelash Glue: Ardell LashGrip for strip lashes
8. Eyebrow Mascara: Palty – Milk Tea Brown
9. Lipstick: Maybelline New York – Pale pink (although this lipstick really wasn’t any good, I don’t know if it’s because mine is old or something…)
10. Blush: Nivea – Chantal Thomass
11. Make-up brush set from Forever21

And the tutorial:

New shoes from Deichmann

Hello! So earlier I told you a little about my long brown wig from Clair Beauty on Yesstyle. And now I thought I’d do a little quick review. I bought this one (coffee), but I decided to give it bangs since I think it looks better on me. Sorry for the crappy pictures though. I’ve sort of moved in with my boyfriend but I haven’t brought my camera equipment yet. So I don’t have any place with good lighting >_> But I hope this will do.

left: no flash – right: with flash (super-strong-mega-flash-of-doom)

I’m very satisfied with the wig. I think the curls look very natural. It looks a bit weird with a strong flash, but I think that’s almost inevitable for synthetic wigs. or at least in this price range.

I personally like it best when I have all hair on one side, and with a hat. this hat is from H&M. ^-^

Both my boyfriend and I like to shop from Yesstyle. And we’ve never had any trouble with shopping from there. The shipping is usually very quick, and if something doesn’t fit we’ve always been able to return it and get a refund. Although one thing to notice is that if the item is not ready to ship it might take a long time for it to arrive. It usually says in the description how long it will take.

And some feedback on the wig:

Positive:
+ Great quality, it feels soft and looks natural.
+ Great fit. And you can adjust the size a bit.
+ Nice color, matches the image
+ Fast shipping (if you chose one that is ready to ship!)

Negative:
- No hair net included… even though the description said so?
- Looks weird with flash.. but then again most synthetic wigs in the price range probably do so.
- If you choose one that is not ready to ship you may have to wait a long time for it to arrive

Rating: ★★★★☆/ 4 out of 5

Also, another thing I love about this wig is that now I can finally make my favorite updo again! Some have asked me to show how I do this updo on a wig, so I made a quick video of it.

It’s very similar to my last updo tutorial. But anyway.

And I’ll end with an outfit~~

Hello! I totally forgot to post about this. When I was in Värmland I had lots of spare time, so I decided to decorate a new case for my iPhone 4. I bought some Anna Sui inspired decoden from ebay a while ago that I wanted to try. ^^ I also downloaded a cute Liz Lisa background that I found at Universal Dolls blogpost.

This is the second time I’ve tried to decorate an iPhone case. Although I think it looks better than last time I did this, I still need some practice ^^;;

Hello! Just got home from a weekend in Värmland. It was nice! But now back to work. And bloggin! ヽ(。ゝω・。)ノ I’ve been so inspired by Okarie lately. Especially her short hairstyles. So today I did my hair and make up inspired by her style ^-^

And whoops, I didn’t do my nails today.. ^^;;

I was actually going to to do a make-up tutorial, but I couldn’t find a good place to put my camera and the lighting was all wrong and… it was totally fail. but I’ll try to make one soon! ^^;;

Hmm I think I need different shoes for this outfit. Maybe I need to go buy some… 8)

Hello! So like a week ago I was browsing around Ebay and I came across this seller who has lots of asian make-up, beauty and hair supplies. I noticed they had some different Palty hair dyes and they were quite cheap so I decided to order one. ^-^ here’s the link to the one I ordered

I tried the Palty Foam Pack (Palty 泡パック) awapaku

And I chose the Creamy Caramel (クリーミィキャラメル) to the far right.

Then I followed the instructions provided with the package. Although I can’t read much japanese it was easy to understand with help from the pictures. It’s as easy to use as any other hair color. Although I’ve never had to mix the hair color in a bowl before…. But it was quite fun.

Mix the haircolor as the instruction says, by adding the base water and color cream into the cup. Use the “spoon” to mix 20-40 times. When the foam reaches the edge it’s ready to use. Then apply the color mix onto dry hair and rub it in. Leave it in for about 20 minutes, (I usually leave mine for a bit longer) then rinse. A more detailed instruction came with the package, but I just used these pictures from Dariya’s website for now. ^^

Moisture treatment ingredients~~

After you’ve rinsed, shampooed and conditioned your hair, add the moisture treatment mask onto towel dried hair.

And the result?

Well, I like the the color, but I’m not very pleased with the result… It’s not very even. Some parts are brighter than others. This has never happened to me before when I’ve used cream/foam hair dyes. I usually use the Casting Créme Gloss from L’Oréal Paris. Then I always get a very even result. And other foam hair dyes I’ve tried have been very rich. I’ve always had lots of hair dye leftover when I’m done. With this one from Palty I almost ran out of it..

I used a different Palty last time i dyed my hair (I didn’t write about it though, I forgot..), that I bought when I was in NYC. This one was actually much better. It was just like regular hair color, and you didn’t have to mix it in a bowl ^^;;

But next time I think I’ll try a different brand for my hair dye.
Don’t know what yet though ^^

Now I’m off to see Owl City live in Stockholm! *_*

Hello! It’s been a while again. I’ve been kind of busy this week. But I thought I’d at least post some recent outfits and hairstyles.

I recently bought a long brown wig from Clair Beauty on Yesstyle. I’m really happy with it. They have a great selection of wigs on Yesstyle, but I chose this one (coffee) because it was ready to ship at the time. ^^

shirt and skirt from Gina Tricot
hat from H&M

Also went to Gina Tricot and tried on some clothes ^^
Didn’t buy anything though but I might buy these pants later.

Oh and another thing I love with this wig is that I can
now make an updo with my hair again :’D
Here’s how I usually make my updo’s:

And I had a really great time at the party. I met some friends that I haven’t seen in a while. And also made up with an old friend of mine ^^ I’ve been acting very childish over something for a while… so it felt really good to just let go of all the old things. Well, it still might take some time, but hopefully we’re on the right track. I hope so.

And tomorrow is monday so I better get back to work. So I guess I’ll just end this post with a work-outfit. No wig! … but I need to re-dye my hair >_>
