Hello! It’s been a while since my last blog post… again. I’ve been busy with job hunting, been working on various design projects, preparing for Christmas, and so on. So I’ve completely forgot to tell you about my new hair cut I got last week at my favorite place: Toni&Guy. I haven’t had my hair cut for almost six months, so it felt necessary. I also decided it was time to update my lookbook once again!
For the haircut I was so pleased with my last haircut so I decided to stay with that style ^^
And some recent outfits~~
That was all I had for today. But I feel that it’s been an awfully long time since I did a tutorial of some kind… I’ll have to look into that soon!
Hello! I haven’t had the time to blog for a while again. ,_, I’ve been sick almost the whole week, and I’ve also been taking care of my mom (who’s recovering from surgery). I hope she gets well soon. ♥ I’ve also been working with some design things, so I haven’t had much time for blogging. But I hope I can find some time to make a proper blog post soon. I have so much things I want to share with you!
But today I want to share one of my biggest fashion inspirations – Rie Matsuoka ♥ (or you may know here better as Okarie). I’ve been kind of obsessed with here lately. I love her sense of style, very sweet but still elegant. I picked some inspirational pictures from her blog:

Hello again! haven’t had the time to update much lately. But this weekend I went to a burlesque event in Stockholm: Duty Calls. It was truly amazing. And so many great artists and performances. Dusty Limits (so charming!), Vicky Butterfly, Virginia Valentine, Ruby Luscious and Fräulein Frauke. And everyone at the party was all dressed up in 1940′s vintage outfits and uniforms. I could stay there forever. *-*
I thought I’d seize the moment and wear something burlesque inspired. ~~
hmm I think my whole outfit is from H&M actually ^^;;
and I really had to struggle with my hair. x_x

Oh and yesterday it was Advent Sunday. It was also +11°C outsite. o_O It’s kind of strange because normally in Sweden we have -20°C and lots of snow by now. but I guess I shouldn’t complain ^^ I love Advent because you get to eat lots of saffron buns. We had a few. 8)

Hello! I had so much fun this weekend! ^-^ At Saturday there was a “lolita reunion” for the swedish lolita community forum, to celebrate their 5-year aniversary. Even though I haven’t dressed lolita in several years, it was actually really fun ^-^ I met both old and new friends, and I had a wonderful time.

I still look a bit more gyaru than lolita… Mostly because I sold almost all my lolita clothes. ^^;; But I found this skirt that I made a couple of years ago, and I think it still looks okay. couldn’t find a petticoat for it though >_<

Hello! So earlier I told you a little about my long brown wig from Clair Beauty on Yesstyle. And now I thought I’d do a little quick review. I bought this one (coffee), but I decided to give it bangs since I think it looks better on me. Sorry for the crappy pictures though. I’ve sort of moved in with my boyfriend but I haven’t brought my camera equipment yet. So I don’t have any place with good lighting >_> But I hope this will do.

I’m very satisfied with the wig. I think the curls look very natural. It looks a bit weird with a strong flash, but I think that’s almost inevitable for synthetic wigs. or at least in this price range.
I personally like it best when I have all hair on one side, and with a hat. this hat is from H&M. ^-^
Both my boyfriend and I like to shop from Yesstyle. And we’ve never had any trouble with shopping from there. The shipping is usually very quick, and if something doesn’t fit we’ve always been able to return it and get a refund. Although one thing to notice is that if the item is not ready to ship it might take a long time for it to arrive. It usually says in the description how long it will take.
And some feedback on the wig:
Positive:
+ Great quality, it feels soft and looks natural.
+ Great fit. And you can adjust the size a bit.
+ Nice color, matches the image
+ Fast shipping (if you chose one that is ready to ship!)
Negative:
- No hair net included… even though the description said so?
- Looks weird with flash.. but then again most synthetic wigs in the price range probably do so.
- If you choose one that is not ready to ship you may have to wait a long time for it to arrive

Also, another thing I love about this wig is that now I can finally make my favorite updo again! Some have asked me to show how I do this updo on a wig, so I made a quick video of it.

Hello! Just got home from a weekend in Värmland. It was nice! But now back to work. And bloggin! ヽ(｡ゝω・｡)ﾉ I’ve been so inspired by Okarie lately. Especially her short hairstyles. So today I did my hair and make up inspired by her style ^-^
And whoops, I didn’t do my nails today.. ^^;;
I was actually going to to do a make-up tutorial, but I couldn’t find a good place to put my camera and the lighting was all wrong and… it was totally fail. but I’ll try to make one soon! ^^;;

Hello! So like a week ago I was browsing around Ebay and I came across this seller who has lots of asian make-up, beauty and hair supplies. I noticed they had some different Palty hair dyes and they were quite cheap so I decided to order one. ^-^ here’s the link to the one I ordered
I tried the Palty Foam Pack (Palty 泡パック) awapaku
And I chose the Creamy Caramel (クリーミィキャラメル) to the far right.
Then I followed the instructions provided with the package. Although I can’t read much japanese it was easy to understand with help from the pictures. It’s as easy to use as any other hair color. Although I’ve never had to mix the hair color in a bowl before…. But it was quite fun.
Mix the haircolor as the instruction says, by adding the base water and color cream into the cup. Use the “spoon” to mix 20-40 times. When the foam reaches the edge it’s ready to use. Then apply the color mix onto dry hair and rub it in. Leave it in for about 20 minutes, (I usually leave mine for a bit longer) then rinse. A more detailed instruction came with the package, but I just used these pictures from Dariya’s website for now. ^^
Moisture treatment ingredients~~
After you’ve rinsed, shampooed and conditioned your hair, add the moisture treatment mask onto towel dried hair.

And the result?
Well, I like the the color, but I’m not very pleased with the result… It’s not very even. Some parts are brighter than others. This has never happened to me before when I’ve used cream/foam hair dyes. I usually use the Casting Créme Gloss from L’Oréal Paris. Then I always get a very even result. And other foam hair dyes I’ve tried have been very rich. I’ve always had lots of hair dye leftover when I’m done. With this one from Palty I almost ran out of it..
I used a different Palty last time i dyed my hair (I didn’t write about it though, I forgot..), that I bought when I was in NYC. This one was actually much better. It was just like regular hair color, and you didn’t have to mix it in a bowl ^^;;
But next time I think I’ll try a different brand for my hair dye.
Don’t know what yet though ^^

And tomorrow is monday so I better get back to work. So I guess I’ll just end this post with a work-outfit. No wig! … but I need to re-dye my hair >_>

Uhh. I’ve been really sick this whole week. I’ve just walked around in sweatpants, sneezing, and I’ve felt really disgusting… And since I’m a freelancing graphic designer I’ve also been working a lot… x__x But today I’m finally feeling better. ^^
Also, I’ve been kind of obsessed with Okarie lately. I love her sweet style. I’m not that into her Ank Rouge brand though, ’cause I feel a bit too old for it.. but it’s still very sweet. And I love her hairstyle. Although I prefer her shorter style she hair before over the long hairstyle that she has now. But she’s still very pretty ♥ My favorite models are still Yui Kanno, Tsubasa and Okarie. ♥
