My Make-Up Today: Tutorial.

Hello! So. Some have asked me to do a make-up tutorial. I’m not very good at making tutorials, but I hope this will do. I’m just going to show my make-up for today. Nothing special. This is my usual day-make-up. It’s not too heavy, and also easy to do ^_^

What I use:

1. Concealer: Viva la Diva
2. Foundation: Maybelline New York – Pure Liquid Mineral
3. Eyeshadow: Maybelline New York – Intense chic
4. Mascara: Maybelline New York – Falsies Volume Express
5. Eye Liner: Nivea Expert Eye Liner
6. Fake Lashes: Dolly Wink no.1 Dolly Sweet
7. Eyelash Glue: Ardell LashGrip for strip lashes
8. Eyebrow Mascara: Palty – Milk Tea Brown
9. Lipstick: Maybelline New York – Pale pink (although this lipstick really wasn’t any good, I don’t know if it’s because mine is old or something…)

Clair Beauty Wig – Review and Updo

Hello! So earlier I told you a little about my long brown wig from Clair Beauty on Yesstyle. And now I thought I’d do a little quick review. I bought this one (coffee), but I decided to give it bangs since I think it looks better on me. Sorry for the crappy pictures though. I’ve sort of moved in with my boyfriend but I haven’t brought my camera equipment yet. So I don’t have any place with good lighting >_> But I hope this will do.

I’m very satisfied with the wig. I think the curls look very natural. It looks a bit weird with a strong flash, but I think that’s almost inevitable for synthetic wigs. or at least in this price range.


I personally like it best when I have all hair on one side, and with a hat. this hat is from H&M. ^-^

Both my boyfriend and I like to shop from Yesstyle. And we’ve never had any trouble with shopping from there. The shipping is usually very quick, and if something doesn’t fit we’ve always been able to return it and get a refund. Although one thing to notice is that if the item is not ready to ship it might take a long time for it to arrive. It usually says in the description how long it will take.

And some feedback on the wig:

Positive:
+ Great quality, it feels soft and looks natural.
+ Great fit. And you can adjust the size a bit.
+ Nice color, matches the image
+ Fast shipping (if you chose one that is ready to ship!)

Negative:
- No hair net included… even though the description said so?
- Looks weird with flash.. but then again most synthetic wigs in the price range probably do so.
- If you choose one that is not ready to ship you may have to wait a long time for it to arrive

Also, another thing I love about this wig is that now I can finally make my favorite updo again! Some have asked me to show how I do this updo on a wig, so I made a quick video of it.

☆Not a make-up tutorial☆

Hello! okay, so, this is not a make-up tutorial. But I thought, since I’m going to put on make up I might as well put it on tape. That way, if somebody asks I can just refer to this video. or something. I’ll probably remove it later. since it looks kinda silly. but anyway! ^-^

Giant Hair Bun Tutorial☆

Hello~~ I promised you a hair tutorial. So here it is!

What you will need:

1. Hair spray (I use Proffs)
2. Dry Shampoo or Hair wax (I use Proffs Dry Shampoo)
3. A comb or a hair brush
4. Scrunchy or hair band
5. Bobby pins
6. Hairpiece Pony Tail (I use a synthetic hair pony tail from Glitter)

I hope my explainations aren’t too weird. I tried to show everything with pictures but it was hard to take good ones…

I also made a video some time ago with a similar updo. It’s a bit more frizzy but I’m using the same technique.

Eyelash Transformation

I’ve been without fake-eyelashes for quite some time now. my mum was very sweet and got me a pair from H&M but they really can’t be compared to asian brands… I really like Diamond Lash, but I still can’t afford to buy new ones from shopping services such as Ichibankao. So I decided to try and make some.

This is what I used:

I started by cutting a pair of Ardell no 115 “Show Girl” lashes
(If I wear them just like they are I kind of look like a clown/prostitute)

Then I glued on the H&M lashes on the back of the Ardell lashes.


Here is the finished result! I know they look a bit tacky,
but still an alternative when you can’t afford the real deal.
(or can’t wait for shipping ^^;;)

they actually look better when you have them on:


I decided not to wear the lower lashes I have ’cause it was a little too much
